Bhopal: BJP Madhya Pradesh President VD Sharma has announced that an FIR has been filed against Rahul Gandhi for allegedly insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharma accused Gandhi of repeatedly offending the Prime Minister and using abusive language. “BJP Madhya Pradesh has registered an FIR against Rahul Gandhi. He has continuously insulted the person sitting on the constitutional post of India's Prime Minister,” Sharma stated.
Sharma highlighted that BJP National President JP Nadda has addressed a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, alleging that Gandhi has insulted PM Modi on numerous occasions, even using derogatory language. He further claimed that Rahul Gandhi's actions amounted to treason, noting that Gandhi has criticized the Prime Minister in foreign countries as well.
The BJP leader called for stringent and swift legal action against Gandhi, asserting that BJP workers nationwide have filed similar complaints. “BJP workers across the country have registered FIRs against Rahul Gandhi and we demand strict and quick legal action against him,” Sharma emphasized. This development marks a significant escalation in the ongoing political tensions between the BJP and Congress.
