Reasi, J&K: The death toll in the landslide near the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district has risen to 32, officials confirmed on Wednesday, a day after the tragedy struck the pilgrimage route.

The landslide, triggered by heavy and continuous rainfall, occurred on Tuesday along the path leading to the revered hilltop shrine, trapping devotees and causing widespread damage. Officials said at least 20 people injured in the incident were admitted to the Community Health Centre in Reasi, where they are undergoing treatment.
