Dehradun: A single-member inquiry commission constituted by the Uttarakhand government to investigate alleged irregularities in the competitive examination conducted by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) on September 21, 2025, submitted its interim report to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday.
The commission, headed by Justice (Retd.) U.C. Dhyani, conducted extensive public hearings and collected suggestions from candidates and other stakeholders before submitting the report. Chief Minister Dhami appreciated the commission’s efforts for completing the task within a short timeframe and said the state government will carefully review the findings to take decisions in the interest of candidates.
He added that a recommendation for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe has already been made to ensure full fairness in the matter. Dhami reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and credibility of recruitment examinations and emphasized that future measures will aim to prevent any irregularities. The Chief Minister said these steps are intended to ensure that candidates and their families continue to have confidence in the state’s examination system.
