Uttarakhand: Addressing the flood and landslide situation in the state, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami provided an update on the relief and rescue operations. "Relief and rescue operations are going on in the state. All the departments are in alert mode," Dhami stated. He mentioned his visits to several affected areas, including interactions with devotees at Kedarnath Darshan.

"Around 5,000 people have been rescued so far, and 1,000 people who are in Kedarnath Dham will also be rescued soon," Dhami confirmed. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured him of the best possible assistance, with Mi helicopters already deployed. "Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, and other ministers of the Central Government are in contact with us," Dhami noted, highlighting the coordinated efforts at both state and national levels to address the crisis.
