Dehradun/Chandigarh: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday raised concern over the killing of a youth from Uttarakhand, Sahil Bisht, in Ambala, Haryana, and sought immediate action against the culprits. In a phone call to Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Dhami pressed for the swift arrest of those involved and demanded the strictest punishment under the law.
According to officials, Sahil Bisht, a resident of Uttarakhand, was murdered in Ambala, sparking outrage and calls for justice. Chief Minister Dhami emphasised the need to act decisively in such cases to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain public confidence in law enforcement.
Responding to Dhami’s request, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini assured that the perpetrators would not be spared. He said that clear instructions have already been issued to the Haryana Police to expedite the investigation and take immediate action. Saini added that the Haryana government is committed to extending full cooperation and will take every possible measure to deliver justice.
