The night shelter in Transport Nagar has been housing dozens of people, including daily wage workers and homeless individuals, providing them with a safe and warm place to stay. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of such facilities in supporting vulnerable sections of society.

Residents expressed their gratitude for the initiative and shared their experiences with the CM, highlighting the positive impact of the shelter on their lives. However, some also mentioned areas needing improvement, which Dhami assured would be addressed promptly.

This visit is part of a broader campaign by the state government to improve infrastructure and services in night shelters across Uttarakhand. With temperatures dropping, the Chief Minister reiterated the need for proactive measures to protect the needy from extreme weather conditions.
