Uttarakhand CM Criticizes Silence Over Attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami calls out activists for remaining silent on attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, accusing them of prioritizing vote bank politics.
Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has criticized activists and groups for their silence on the recent attacks on Hindus and minorities in Bangladesh. Dhami remarked, "The same groups who would organize candlelight marches on every small issue are now nowhere to be seen. Their true colors have been exposed when our Hindu community is being targeted in a neighboring country."
He further accused them of only working for votes and catering to a specific vote bank, questioning their sincerity in standing up for the community when it truly matters. Dhami's comments have sparked conversations about selective activism and political motivations.
