Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the recent terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a “barbaric act against humanity” and expressing solidarity with the victims and their families.

In a statement posted on social media, CM Dhami said, “The terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu-Kashmir, is an inhumane and barbaric act against humanity. My deepest condolences are with the families who lost their loved ones in this cowardly attack.”

He further emphasized that such acts of terrorism are not only attacks on innocent lives but also on the values of peace, culture, and humanity. “Terrorism is an assault on culture, peace, and human values,” he said, adding that attempts to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir through such violence would not succeed.

Dhami assured that those responsible for the heinous act would be brought to justice. “These terrorists will surely face a fitting response for this heinous act,” he asserted.
