Lucknow – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday attended the ‘Developed Uttar Pradesh Vision @ 2047’ conclave, highlighting the state’s financial health and developmental progress.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister cited the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report, noting that Uttar Pradesh had a revenue surplus of Rs 37,000 crore based on two-year-old data. He added that the current revenue surplus stands at Rs 70,000 crore, emphasizing that despite being India’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh is moving forward efficiently across multiple sectors.

“The CAG report has revealed the surprising fact that Uttar Pradesh is a revenue surplus state with Rs 37,000 crore, this is two-year-old data. Currently, we are at Rs 70,000 crore revenue surplus. Despite being such a large state by population, UP is moving forward efficiently in all areas,” he said.
