By A Staff Reporter — Delhi: In response to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement suggesting that India faces a threat from the RSS-BJP alliance and leaders Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, Union Minister Giriraj Singh launched a strong counterattack, alleging that it is Congress that poses a risk to India’s unity. He accused the Congress party, particularly Rahul Gandhi, of seeking to incite civil unrest and attempting to destabilize the country.

“If the country faces a threat, it is from the Congress party, which wants to spark a civil war within India,” Singh stated. “Rahul Gandhi aims to create turmoil and instability, not only to promote civil war but also to weaken and harm India through such unrest,” he added. Singh expressed confidence, however, that Congress’s alleged intentions would fail, claiming that India’s youth have become increasingly aware of Congress’s strategies.

Kharge’s initial remarks had been critical of the BJP and RSS, whom he described as threats to India’s secular and democratic fabric. Singh’s rebuttal positions the BJP as defenders of national unity, while painting Congress as a force for division.

The exchange reflects a heated political climate, with both parties intensifying their rhetoric as they appeal to public sentiment. As the political landscape in India continues to shift, leaders on both sides are sharpening their narratives to attract voter support, especially among the country’s youth, whom Singh believes are now skeptical of Congress’s policies.
