Ranchi, 16 August — Union Minister and BJP MP from Ranchi, Sanjay Seth, has supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s concern expressed from the Red Fort on Independence Day regarding infiltration and its implications for border states and tribal regions.

Speaking to reporters, Seth said that Jharkhand has been witnessing challenges due to alleged infiltration from Bangladesh, which he described as a matter of national security and demographic concern. “Definitely, the worry expressed by the Prime Minister from Red Fort is justified. The people of Jharkhand are sufferers, tribal population is depleting, the Bangladeshi infiltrators are marrying tribal girls to own their properties. One lakh infiltrators have come in Ranchi, it is a danger for the country,” he stated.

Seth added that such issues posed both cultural and economic risks, stressing that necessary steps would be taken in line with the Prime Minister’s assurance. “Hence, PM said action will be taken,” he noted.
