Delhi: Union Minister Jitendra Singh interacted with traders and shopkeepers at Azadpur Market to gather feedback on the recently implemented Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms.
Singh said the outreach was aimed at understanding the sentiments of local businesses following the reform measures. “GST reforms have been carried out under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. We have come out into the markets regarding that. An effort is being made to understand the sentiments of the shopkeepers. Everyone has thanked Prime Minister Modi,” he stated.
The Minister highlighted that the government has sought to simplify taxation processes and reduce compliance burdens for small businesses. Shopkeepers at the market, he added, conveyed their appreciation for the reforms and their impact on trade practices.
