Gaya, Bihar: Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi reacted sharply to Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s recent statement regarding the census. Manjhi emphasized that the census will be conducted as per the central government’s policy, reiterating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already provided states the autonomy to carry out the exercise.

Speaking in Gaya, Manjhi said, "The census will be done as per the government policy. All states have already been given the liberty by PM Modi. The Bihar government has done it. Who has denied it? What is new in his promise?"
