Delhi: Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday highlighted the government’s initiatives to support farmers, focusing on the recent increase in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Rabi crops.
Speaking at an event, Chouhan said, "The Prime Minister has increased the MSP of Rabi crops. By increasing the MSP, the Prime Minister has ensured that farmers get the right and full price for their produce."
He also emphasized the impact of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme, stating that so far, Rs 3,90,000 crore has been credited directly to farmers’ accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
