Delhi: At the launch of a new portal and guidelines during the 'Training and Awareness Programme for Street Food Vendors,' Union Health Minister JP Nadda underscored Prime Minister Modi’s vision of empowerment.

"Prime Minister Modi's vision is to empower every person. So what does empowerment mean? Empowerment means that whatever work one is doing, he should do it in a good manner, in a trained manner, and there is a big difference between trained and untrained, skilled and unskilled," Nadda explained, highlighting the significance of proper training.

He stressed the benefits of training, stating, "When we are trained, we can grow our business very well and we get benefits from it." The programme aims to provide street food vendors with essential skills and knowledge, thereby enhancing their business operations.

Nadda further elaborated on the certification process, noting its value. "All of you will get certificates and that certification also becomes an effective certificate for your shop," he added, emphasizing the role of certification in legitimizing and boosting the vendors' businesses
