BY A STAFF REPORTER: After successful tests in the United States, Ukraine will soon receive the first large batch of long-range missiles made by Boeing that promises to expand its range deep into Russian-controlled territory.
It is known that they can reach the 'battlefield' by Wednesday i.e. today.
Ukraine needs Boeing's Ground Launched Small Bass Bomb (GLSDB) to augment a limited number of 100-mile-range Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) rockets sent by the United States.
The glide-bomb will help the Ukrainian military hit targets at twice the distance of rockets fired from the US-supplied High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and could force Russia to move supplies further away from the front lines.
