Two CRPF Personnel Killed, 12 Injured in Road Accident in J&K's Udhampur

Udhampur (J&K): Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel lost their lives and twelve others sustained injuries after a CRPF vehicle met with a serious accident near Kandva in the Basantgarh area of Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district on Wednesday.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police, Udhampur, Sandeep Bhat, the mishap occurred during a movement of security personnel through the hilly terrain of the region. The vehicle, reportedly carrying multiple CRPF jawans, veered off the road under unknown circumstances and overturned. The impact led to immediate casualties and injuries among the occupants.
