Mumbai: Two people were arrested after issuing verbal threats to Salim Khan, the father of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, while riding a bike. DCP Zone IX, Raj Tilak Roushan, confirmed the arrests, stating that the offenders had fled the scene after using threatening language against the renowned writer.

"Two people on a bike used threatening words against Salim Khan and fled. Both of them have been taken into custody, and an offence has been registered," DCP Roushan said.

Upon further investigation, authorities determined that the incident was merely a case of mischief, with no other significant angle or motive behind it. "There is no other angle to it," the DCP confirmed, indicating that the situation was not as serious as initially feared.

This swift action by the police has brought relief to the Khan family, although the case is now being closed as a minor disturbance.
