Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will emerge victorious in the Delhi Assembly elections, attributing the anticipated win to public discontent over alleged corruption in the past decade.
Speaking to reporters on the eve of the election results, Saha asserted that Delhi’s voters have witnessed the misgovernance of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and will use their mandate to bring about change.
"People of Delhi have seen the kind of corruption that happened in Delhi in the last 10 years. Tomorrow's results will tell how people have made the BJP victorious and given a befitting reply to this corruption. This victory will be possible because of PM Narendra Modi," Saha said.
The BJP has consistently targeted the AAP government over alleged corruption scandals, including the excise policy case and irregularities in governance. The Delhi elections have been closely contested, with BJP aggressively campaigning on an anti-corruption and governance platform.
