Chandigarh: Reacting to recent arrests related to espionage for Pakistan, senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, has demanded a comprehensive investigation into the matter. He stressed the gravity of the situation, stating that any act of betrayal against the nation must be dealt with firmly and the guilty must face the harshest legal consequences.
“This is a very serious matter,” Hooda said while addressing the media. “It should be investigated thoroughly so that it can be known who was betraying our country. The culprits should be given severe punishment.”
His remarks come amid heightened concerns over national security following the arrest of individuals accused of spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency, the ISI. The revelations have raised alarms about internal threats and the possible infiltration of sensitive information from within the country
