Hyderabad, Telangana: Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy provided an update on the progress of the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) during a media interaction. The ambitious healthcare project, which is being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹1000 crore, aims to bolster medical infrastructure in the state.
"The construction of Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) is 40% complete," the minister stated, underscoring the government’s commitment to ensuring quality healthcare facilities for the people of Telangana.
Reddy emphasized the urgency of the project, adding, "We have to complete this hospital in a year, and we have planned to open the hospital by December 2025."
TIMS is envisioned as a state-of-the-art medical facility designed to address the growing healthcare needs of Telangana’s population. Once completed, the hospital is expected to serve as a hub for advanced medical research and provide specialized care to patients across the region.
