Nagarkurnool, Telangana: Commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of iconic tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda, Telangana BJP President Ramchander Rao emphasised the central government’s developmental initiatives aimed at uplifting tribal communities across the state. Addressing a gathering in the remote tribal regions of the Nallamala forest, Rao highlighted that the BJP has intensified its outreach among the Chenchu community, one of the most vulnerable and backward tribal groups in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao stated, “The BJP has organised meetings with the tribals from the most affected backward areas in the remote tribal area of the Chenchu community in the Nallamala forest. The government of India has constructed 176 pucca houses for them and provided them with solar energy.” He added that these efforts reflect the Centre’s commitment to improving the living standards of tribal families residing in difficult terrains.
