Washington, DC: In a powerful address to the Indian diaspora, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya recounted a chilling incident of targeted killings, asserting the strength of India's unity and the nation's readiness to respond to any attack with determination. Speaking at a community interaction in the U.S. capital, Surya claimed, “26 men were singled out. Their religion was asked. Some were asked to recite the first verse from the Quran, and when they couldn't, they were shot dead point-blank.”

Surya described the act as a “deliberate, cynical action” aimed at fracturing India’s social harmony. “The purpose behind this brutal episode was only to destroy the social fabric of India,” he said, underscoring the pain and provocation caused by such attacks.

He then pivoted to a message of strength and solidarity, stating that the nation’s diversity was its greatest strength. “The message we are conveying in one voice is that India's diversity is our strength,” Surya asserted.

In a sharp warning to hostile forces, he invoked the term “Operation Sindoor” — a recent Indian military operation celebrated for its decisiveness — declaring, “If you attack us, we are ready to do a hundred 'Operation Sindoors'. This is the message.”
