Siwan: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday extended strong support to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ongoing ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, addressing a large gathering in Siwan, Bihar.
Speaking at the event, Yadav said he witnessed overwhelming public participation. “I can see a flood of enthusiasm here till as far as I can see. People rightly say that revolution starts from Bihar,” he remarked, adding that the crowd’s unity reflected the collective will to safeguard democratic values.
The former Deputy Chief Minister directly addressed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech, saying, “PM Modi, listen to this voice, this echo from the land of Siwan, of people from every caste, religion, and age, saying that no one has the guts to destroy our Constitution or Democracy.”
Yadav further alleged that attempts were being made to undermine the opposition’s outreach programs. “Now that Rahul Gandhi’s Yatra is going well, this fake party is spreading fake propaganda in the country,” he claimed, without naming the ruling party directly.
The ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, led by Gandhi, has been drawing attention across Bihar, with opposition leaders portraying it as a movement to protect electoral integrity and democratic institutions.
