Patna, Bihar — Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has criticised Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his remarks during a recent visit to Bihar, urging him to address key developmental issues instead of targeting opposition leaders.
“Amit Shah always makes those ‘Thakau and Pakau’ statements. He must talk about Bihar’s development, unemployment, inflation, poverty, etc. Bihar won’t develop if you spend all day abusing Lalu Yadav and me,” Yadav said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The comments come amid heightened political exchanges between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the RJD, with both sides intensifying their campaigns ahead of upcoming electoral battles in the state.
