BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress amid ongoing discussions regarding the Karnataka Chief Ministership, likening the party to an “expired injection” and claiming it lacks leadership coherence. Speaking in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Chugh said internal disagreements within Congress have become visible, reflecting what he described as a weakening organisational structure.
Commenting on the speculation surrounding a possible reshuffle in Karnataka, Chugh said the situation highlights instability within the party. “The Congress party is like an expired injection, where there is no high command,” he remarked, alleging that the party leadership has failed to assert direction or unity. He added that the reported differences between senior Karnataka leaders have already surfaced publicly, reinforcing his claim of growing rifts.
“The rift in the Congress organisation has already come out. It is clearly visible that the Congress party is functioning like an expired injection,” he reiterated, framing the leadership uncertainty as symptomatic of larger institutional decay.
