Delhi-NCR: A recent online survey conducted by citizen engagement platform LocalCircles has found that three out of four households in Delhi-NCR are already feeling the adverse impact of toxic air. The findings highlight growing health concerns amid worsening air quality in the region.

According to the survey, common complaints among residents include burning eyes, headaches, sore throat, cough, and disturbed sleep. Respondents indicated that prolonged exposure to polluted air is affecting both daily life and overall well-being.

The survey emphasizes the urgent need for stricter pollution control measures, awareness campaigns, and personal protective measures, such as masks and air purifiers, to mitigate health risks. Experts have warned that sustained exposure to toxic air can lead to long-term respiratory and cardiovascular problems.
