Nadia, West Bengal – Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar has emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh, stating that the Indian government is committed to their well-being. Speaking at an event in Nadia, Majumdar referenced former US President Donald Trump’s remarks, claiming that Trump had entrusted PM Narendra Modi with handling Bangladesh-related issues.
“The first thing is the safety of Hindus staying in Bangladesh, which is very important. If US President Donald Trump can say that he has left the Bangladesh issue in the hands of PM Modi, the people of India have even more trust in PM Modi,” Majumdar said.
He further asserted that if a global leader like Trump has confidence in Modi’s leadership, Indians can place their trust in him as well.
