Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar has strongly criticized the Congress party for its alliance with the National Conference and their commitment to restore Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking in Kolkata, Majumdar questioned whether Congress intends to return the region to a time marked by stone-pelting and bombings.
He expressed his disapproval of the manifesto's promises, arguing that such actions would be a step backward for Jammu and Kashmir. Majumdar also called on the INDI alliance partners to clarify their stance on this issue, emphasizing the need for transparency regarding their position on the future of the region.
