New Delhi: As counting for the Bihar Assembly Elections progressed on Friday, BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said the emerging trends reaffirmed the National Democratic Alliance’s strong governance record. He noted that the alliance’s performance was not only in line with exit poll indications but was surpassing them in several constituencies.
Trivedi reiterated that the BJP had maintained confidence in the NDA’s victory even before counting began. “We had said even at the time of the exit polls that the direction is correct, but the destination will be even better, and the final numbers will be even stronger than predicted,” he said. According to him, the trends reflected widespread public trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
He added that the results, as they stand, “prove the outstanding work done by the NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar ji,” highlighting improvements in infrastructure, welfare delivery, and law and order as key factors driving voter support.
