Chandigarh: Speculations over Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s potential entry into the Rajya Sabha have intensified, with Punjab Leader of Opposition (LoP) Partap Singh Bajwa asserting that it is a certainty.

“This will 100% happen,” Bajwa said, alleging that Kejriwal initially considered entering the Rajya Sabha through the seat of late AAP MLA Gurpreet Gogi but withdrew, fearing backlash from Punjab’s electorate. “Then he felt that this would have a massive reaction in Punjab, and Punjabis wouldn’t stand outsiders. So, he took a step back,” he added.

Bajwa also hinted at the possibility of AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora contesting the Ludhiana West Assembly bypoll, lending further credence to the rumors. “Most probably, there can be some truth to the information regarding Arora sahab,” he remarked.
