In Delhi today, Sikh leaders met BJP National President JP Nadda to convey their appreciation for the party’s continued efforts in addressing concerns faced by the Sikh community. The meeting was attended by Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities, who highlighted the BJP's consistent work for Sikh welfare.
"We had come to thank him for always working to resolve any issues faced by Sikhs. I also presented my book to him," said Lalpura, acknowledging Nadda’s dedication to the Sikh community.
Lalpura praised the contributions made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and JP Nadda, noting that their actions have helped heal long-standing grievances within the Sikh community. "The works done by Modi ji, Amit Shah ji, and Nadda ji have been a balm on our wounds," he added.
He further emphasized the BJP’s longstanding commitment to the welfare of Sikhs, particularly during its time in power at the Centre. "Whenever there has been a BJP government in Centre, it has always worked for the welfare of Sikhs," Lalpura remarked.
This meeting underscores the BJP's efforts to maintain strong ties with the Sikh community, with leaders expressing gratitude for the party’s initiatives aimed at addressing the community’s concerns and promoting their well-being.
