Patna, Bihar: Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan lauded the grand welcome accorded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Bhagalpur, describing the atmosphere as one of "happiness and excitement." His remarks come amid heightened political focus on Bihar's development under the BJP-led central and state governments.
“The wonderful welcome of PM Modi that happened in Bhagalpur, the kind of excitement we saw, that was truly remarkable. The atmosphere was filled with happiness and enthusiasm,” Chouhan said.
He also spoke about discussions with the Prime Minister regarding farmers and highlighted recent developmental initiatives in Bihar. “I spoke to PM regarding the farmers of the country. Bihar has been gifted with central universities and many other things,” he added.
Chouhan emphasized the role of the "double-engine government"—a term used to signify BJP-led governance at both the central and state levels—in driving Bihar’s progress. “Under the leadership of PM Modi and the double-engine government, Bihar will touch new heights of development,” he stated.
