Bhopal: Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan celebrated the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan by hoisting the national flag outside his residence in Bhopal ahead of Independence Day. The initiative, part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, encourages citizens to display the Tricolor at their homes as a mark of respect and patriotism.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign aims to strengthen the connection between citizens and the national flag, symbolising the unity, sacrifice, and freedom for which generations of Indians have strived. Chouhan highlighted the historical significance of the Tiranga, recalling that during India’s freedom struggle, countless people sacrificed their lives while carrying the flag as a symbol of resistance and hope.

As the nation prepares to mark its 79th Independence Day, the campaign has gained momentum across states, with government bodies, schools, and community organisations urging participation. By encouraging citizens to hoist the Tricolor, the initiative seeks to inspire a shared sense of pride and responsibility towards the nation.
