Focusing on Maharashtra, the Union Minister highlighted the state's significant share in the scheme. "More than 13 lakh pucca houses are being provided in Maharashtra. We have already delivered over six lakh permanent houses, and efforts are underway to achieve the remaining targets," he added.

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana aims to address the housing needs of economically weaker sections by ensuring basic amenities and enhancing living standards. Chauhan's statement underscores the government's ongoing initiatives to deliver on this promise and improve rural and urban housing infrastructure.

The announcement reflects the administration's continued efforts to prioritize welfare and uplift the underprivileged through infrastructural development, reinforcing its focus on inclusive growth.
