Mumbai, Maharashtra: Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC on Friday lashed out at Congress leader Nana Patole for his controversial comparison of Operation Sindoor to a “children’s video game,” calling the remark an insult to the Indian armed forces and a reflection of a “low mindset.”

“Only a low mindset and a low thought process like that of Nana Patole can suggest that Operation Sindoor was a video game,” Shaina said in a sharp rebuttal to the Congress leader’s comments made earlier this week. “Making preposterous comments and creating false narratives has been the plan of the Congress party,” she added.

Operation Sindoor, a recent counter-terror initiative carried out by Indian security forces, has been praised by the government as a well-coordinated and high-risk operation aimed at eliminating terror threats. Congress leader Patole’s remarks have drawn widespread condemnation for allegedly undermining the seriousness and sacrifice involved.

Shaina NC further defended the operation, stating, “Operation Sindoor was a concerted effort by the Indian government to end terror. The men in uniform put their lives at stake for the safety of the country. To call that a video game is not just irresponsible—it’s disgraceful.”
