By A Staff Reporter

Delhi: At the launch event of his latest book, 'Live While You're Alive', renowned author Shiv Khera drew an intriguing comparison between India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and the iconic fictional character James Bond.

Khera, known for his motivational speaking, humorously told Dr. Jaishankar, "You literally remind me of James Bond. Why do I say that? Because you are permanently on the hot seat... And this James Bond always remains cool."

The author elaborated on the challenges Dr. Jaishankar faces in his role, adding, “Hot seat, cool head... Hot seat, hot head - you are dead. One arm America is pulling. The other arm Russia is pulling. China is pulling all his legs. But somehow, he managed to maintain his cool. A lot to learn from you.”

Khera’s comments were a nod to the complex and high-pressure environment in which Dr. Jaishankar operates, balancing relations with major global powers while ensuring India’s diplomatic interests are upheld. His admiration for the minister’s calm and steady leadership style was evident throughout the exchange.
