Delhi: Congress spokesperson Shama Mohamed launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, accusing him of misleading the public and failing to address critical governance issues in Bihar and Delhi. Responding to the Prime Minister’s recent remarks, Mohamed said Bihar was witnessing “Jungle Raj” like never before, with law and order deteriorating under the current government.

“Prime Minister Modi is lying day in and day out. Bihar is currently gripped by Jungle Raj more than ever before. A JDU leader allegedly killed a candidate from another party. If this isn’t Jungle Raj, then what is?” she asked. Mohamed also questioned the BJP-JDU alliance’s record, saying, “What have they done for the people of Bihar in the last 20 years? They never speak about it.”

Turning her attention to Delhi’s worsening air quality, Mohamed criticized the government’s inaction on pollution. “The capital, where the PM, Army Chief, President, Chief Justice, and other top officials reside, shows no concern. The AQI is said to be above 400 today,” she said.

She urged immediate steps to combat the crisis, stressing that air pollution should not become a political issue. “Something must be done on a war footing. We cannot politicise this issue,” Mohamed asserted, calling for coordinated efforts at both central and state levels to safeguard public health.
