Mumbai | Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC on Saturday strongly criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for fielding Osama Shahab, the son of former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin, from the Raghunathpur Assembly constituency. Calling the move a “mockery of democracy,” she said it exposes the party’s continued reliance on fear-based politics rather than development.
“The RJD is giving a ticket to Osama Sahib, son of Mohammad Shahabuddin, the biggest gangster, from the Raghunathpur Assembly constituency, and they claim they want to end ‘jungle raj’,” Shaina said, questioning the party’s commitment to law and order.
She asserted that Bihar’s people have become more politically aware and will not support leaders associated with criminal legacies. “The people of Bihar are aware of this jungle raj and its ideology. The RJD’s philosophy has always been to win by using force. But this victory will not be theirs,” she said.
Emphasizing the changing political sentiment, Shaina added, “The people of Bihar understand the politics of development. They do not want jungle raj. They do not want gangsters, and they will never accept this.”
