Shaina N C Hits Out at Sharad Pawar Over Remarks on Vidhan Sabha Outcome

Mumbai, Maharashtra — Shiv Sena leader Shaina N C has strongly criticised Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar over his recent remarks on the Vidhan Sabha election results, accusing him of undermining democratic institutions.

“Sharad Pawar is such a prominent and experienced leader. Do you believe that two people would have met him whose names and addresses he doesn’t even know?” Shaina asked, questioning the basis of Pawar’s claims.

She said that in a democracy, it is the public that determines victory or defeat. “If you have any objections, you can file a complaint with the Election Commission or approach the court, but you have only written a script that raises questions against democracy, voters, and the Election Commission,” she added.

Referring to Pawar’s selective objections, she remarked, “We all know that ‘the one who wins is the conqueror.’ We accepted this in the Lok Sabha, but you have objections in the Vidhan Sabha…”
