By A Staff Reporter — Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh: As the Vijaypur by-election approaches, Sheopur ASP Satyendra Singh Tomar addressed the media, detailing the security measures in place for tomorrow’s vote. The district has set up 327 polling stations, with 164 identified as sensitive. In light of the heightened concerns, 66 polling stations will have Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel deployed to ensure smooth and secure voting.

Tomar also mentioned that the polling stations have been organized into various sectors to further streamline security. In addition to the preparations for the election, the ASP provided an update on a recent firing incident in Dhanachaya village, stating that two individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. Despite the unrest caused by the incident, Tomar assured the public that the situation is now under control and that a thorough investigation is underway.

These proactive security arrangements are aimed at maintaining peace and order during the election process, which is crucial for ensuring a fair and transparent voting experience. Authorities are working diligently to prevent any disruptions and ensure the safety of voters as they head to the polls.
