Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh | Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh on Tuesday announced the launch of a journey from Ayodhya to Prayagraj, starting November 12, to highlight issues of employment and social justice in Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking to reporters in Ayodhya, Singh said the campaign seeks to question the government’s commitment to equality and welfare, invoking the ideals of Ram Rajya as a benchmark. “Tomorrow, starting the 12th, we are going to embark on a journey on employment and social justice from Ayodhya to Prayagraj... Ram Rajya means justice for all classes of people. That’s not happening in Uttar Pradesh,” he remarked.
Drawing parallels with the governance associated with Lord Rama, the AAP leader questioned the state’s record on fairness and accountability. “In Lord Rama’s kingdom, justice was meted out to everyone. Why aren’t you delivering that justice?” he asked.
Singh said unemployment would be one of the central themes of the yatra, along with the demand for equitable opportunities for youth and marginalized communities. “The second question is unemployment, which I’ll be addressing from here to Prayagraj... So these are all the questions,” he added.
