Ayodhya, UP: As the National Democratic Alliance swept past the majority mark in the early trends of the Bihar Assembly Elections, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh on Friday launched a sharp attack on the electoral process, alleging widespread manipulation and irregularities in the voter rolls. Speaking in Ayodhya, Singh reiterated that he had long warned the election “held no meaning” due to what he described as systemic interference.
“I had earlier said that this election has been hijacked and this election holds no meaning; that Gyanesh Kumar has already given the winning certificate to Modi ji for victory in Bihar,” Singh said, referring to the Chief Election Commissioner. He alleged that lakhs of votes had been mishandled or deliberately removed. “What will be the results in a state where 80 lakh votes were deleted, where 5 lakh votes are duplicates, and where 1 lakh votes are unknown?” he added.
Taking a sarcastic tone, Singh said, “We should congratulate NDA, Modi ji and Gyanesh Kumar that they have won Bihar elections with the blessings of Gyanesh Kumar.” He also cited the deletion of 40,000 votes in Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s constituency ahead of polls as evidence of a larger pattern.
Singh further questioned the legitimacy of the election, claiming that voters from outside Bihar may have participated. “If people from other states are going there and voting, then what elections are these? So, these results were already declared. We were just waiting for its declaration today,” he said.
