Mumbai | Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Wednesday strongly endorsed the Indian Army’s cross-border action targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan, calling it a matter of national pride and a display of military professionalism. Raut emphasized that the army responded with precision and restraint, unlike Pakistan’s indiscriminate violence.

“The Indian Army is a professional force, and it never attacks without reason, unlike Pakistan,” Raut stated. “You killed 26 innocent civilians on our side, yet we targeted only terrorist camps—no civilian zones, no military installations. That’s the mark of a responsible nation.”

He added that India had every right to defend itself, and the army’s response was both measured and necessary. The military operation, reportedly conducted under #OperationSindoor, has drawn both domestic praise and international attention.

Raut also addressed Shiv Sena (UBT)'s absence from the initial all-party meeting convened after the Pahalgam terror attack. “That meeting was called in haste. We wanted swift action first—within 24 hours. Now that action has been taken, and a new meeting has been called, we will definitely attend,” he said.
