Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Monday attended the inauguration of the Jeevan Utkarsh Mahotsav in Jabalpur, where he spoke about India’s cultural values and their relevance to global harmony.

Addressing the gathering, Bhagwat reflected on the essence of ‘Sanskriti’, describing it as a way of life rooted in good conduct and moral values. “We understand ‘Sanskriti’ as good conduct, ‘sanskar yukt aacharan’. Good behaviour stems from goodwill (‘sadbhaav’),” he said.

Emphasising the depth of India’s spiritual and cultural heritage, Bhagwat said, “The truth lies in India’s traditions. We may appear different, but that’s just an illusion; we are all the same and connected.”

He further remarked that this sense of connection and unity is a defining feature of Indian civilisation, something that distinguishes it from the rest of the world. “This sense of connection exists in India but not in the rest of the world, which is why the world now looks to India with hope,” Bhagwat added.
