New Delhi: Rolls-Royce has expressed strong ambitions to position India as a key market, with plans to leverage its advanced technologies across land, air, and sea platforms, CEO Tufan Erginbilgic said on Wednesday.

Speaking at an event, Erginbilgic highlighted the company’s intent to foster long-term strategic partnerships in India. “We have deep ambitions to develop India as our ‘home’ market and build collaborations that harness our technological expertise across defence and commercial sectors,” he stated.

The British multinational, which has a significant global footprint in aerospace, marine, and energy systems, is seeking to deepen engagement with Indian industries and government entities. Analysts say Rolls-Royce’s move reflects the growing importance of India in global defence and technological markets, as well as the country’s push for indigenization and strategic self-reliance.
