Rocket fired from Syria at Golan Heights

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Rockets have been fired at Syria's southern Golan Heights, local authorities say.

The Golan Heights regional council said in a statement to residents that three rockets hit the open area but there were no reports of damage or casualties.

The IDF is shelling against the source of the fire.

Several rockets have been fired from Syria into northern Israel amid the war in the Gaza Strip.
