New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Member of Parliament Manoj Kumar Jha has called for a unified and dignified response from the Indian Parliament to repeated statements made by former U.S. President Donald Trump, which he claims undermine India’s position on a sensitive international issue.
“The way our civilians were killed — that collective pain has now become the nation’s pain. However, many questions remain,” Jha said in a public statement. Highlighting that Trump has made the same comment for the 17th time, he criticized India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for failing to counter the narrative effectively.
He urged the central government to convene a session of Parliament, emphasizing the need for national unity on the issue. “We believe that Rajnath Singh is one of those veteran leaders who do not harbour enmity towards the Opposition, unlike the newer ones. Come to Parliament and send a unified message to the American President under the leadership of the Prime Minister,” he said.
