New Delhi: In the wake of the murder of businessman Gopal Khemka in Bihar, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha has strongly criticized the state's law and order situation, questioning the role and alertness of the state administration. Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Jha expressed concern over what he described as a growing sense of lawlessness in Bihar.

“The Chief Minister will take action only when he is alert. Bihar is no longer in his hands. Bihar is in the hands of those sitting in Delhi,” Jha alleged. He referred to past incidents, including the Muzaffarpur case, to emphasize a pattern of insecurity. “The wound of Muzaffarpur is still fresh, and Gopal Khemka has been murdered; that place is just two and a quarter kilometres away from the Chief Minister's residence,” he added.
