Patna, Bihar: RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha took a sharp dig at the BJP's approach to the Jharkhand Assembly elections and Bihar by-elections, accusing the party of divisive tactics and predicting a strong opposition showing.
Speaking on the Jharkhand elections, Jha alleged that the BJP’s efforts to target Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren had backfired. "Sending Hemant Soren to jail and the schemes implemented after that have created a one-sided atmosphere. BJP has no other option except dividing and cutting, and that option will lose," he remarked, hinting at a political tide favoring Soren.
Turning his attention to the Bihar by-elections, Jha exuded confidence in the RJD-led alliance's prospects. "When the results start coming on November 23, the ground will slip out from under people's feet," he said, emphasizing that the opposition parties would deliver a shocking blow to their adversaries.
Jha’s statements reflect the heightened political tensions as both states gear up for key electoral battles. While Jharkhand sees BJP grappling with public sentiment over Soren's alleged legal troubles, Bihar’s by-election has emerged as a litmus test for alliances on both sides.
As voting concludes and results approach, the comments from Jha underline the RJD's belief that its strategies and grassroots connection will yield significant gains, potentially altering the political landscape in the region.
